  • You can become a member by filling out a Google Form, which you can find by clicking the black button above. However, your membership is validated only after joining at least two events per term and paying our membership fee of £ 10 per year. As a member you can enjoy priority allocation at exclusive dinners and you support the society by enabling us to pay for speaker trips and accommodation, thus brining more high-profile speakers to Oxford

  • All of our events take place in-person at an Oxford college. Usually, events are held at Lincoln College but please make sure to consult the term card, or the individual talk announcements for each event to find out where the event takes place.

  • Yes, we charge a small membership fee of £ 10 per year. This fee is used to pay for speaker expenses only. You can pay your membership fee here.

  • The best way to stay updated about our events is to join our WhatsApp Group. All events are announced there, including short-term reminders and possible changes of details. Additionally, our events are posted on our Instagram page, where you can find the latest updates. This website is updated only on a termly basis, so please make sure to consult the locations above for the most accurate details.

  • No, you don´t have to be European, nor do you need a background in political science, or any related subject. We aspire to be a diverse community with a passion for European affairs, welcoming all perspectives and nationalities.

  • You can join the committee by becoming a paying member and indicating your interest in the Google Form found above. In order to serve on the committee you need to be an Oxford University student. Upon indication of interest, we will be delighted to invite you for a short informal interview, to evaluate your team fit. Dedication, a passion for European affairs and commitment are our core values, so please do not hesitate to reach out and apply.
